生平

[url=]邵玉铭[/url]生于，1938年11月3日黑龙江兰西。毕业于国立政治大学外交系，获"中心奖学金"。后取得美国芝加哥大学历史学博士，曾任教于美国圣母大学及马里兰大学。后返台从政。1987年—1991年任新闻局长，于任内代表中华民国政府宣布解除戒严。1991年因个人婚外情问题而辞职。后于1999年—2001年任国民党副秘书长、2001年—2003年任《中央日报》董事长兼社长。马英九就任总统后，曾于2009年—2012年任外交部北美事务协调委员会主委。2013年7月29日，成为延宕30个月的公共电视文化事业基金会第五届董事长。

曾任教于美国南卡罗莱纳州新伯利学院、印第安那州圣母大学，历任芝加哥大学远东研究中心委员、美国"人文科学基金会"审查委员及评议委员，美国"亚洲研究协会"之台湾研究会委员、美国华学协会理事及美国中西部华人学术联谊会会长，并任政治大学、中山大学兼职教授。

• 1982年返台，初任政治大学外交研究所教授、《亚洲与世界》社主任，荣获美国中国文化协会颁发的"中国文化奖"。1984年升任政大外交研究所所长，嗣任政大国际关系研究中心主任。1987年出任台湾当局新闻局长兼大陆工作会报发言人。同年5月5月任台湾当局新闻局长、英文《自由中国纪事报》发行人。1988年7月当选国民党第十三届中央委员。
• 1991年9月辞去新闻局局长职务，转任政治大学外交研究所教授。1988年当选国民党十三届中央委员。
• 1994年复任政治大学国际关系研究中心主任。
• 2000年7月任国民党中央副秘书长。
• 美国在台湾问题上的一系列举动，实质上将置台湾于危地。邵玉铭说，美台关系不应基于它是"美国军队的前哨"之上。他说，我们"承受不起卷入这场争斗的后果。我们太弱小了"。无论从历史、文化或地理的角度，还是从政治、经济现实情势的角度，台湾未来的前途在祖国大陆，台湾的安全取决于两岸人民的密切联系和最终和平统一。

• 长女：邵梅仪(May-Yi Shaw)。目前任教于香港科技大学。
• 第二任妻子：靳秀丽。1991年，[url=]邵玉铭[/url]与华视新闻主播靳秀丽的婚外情被媒体揭露，[url=]邵玉铭[/url]因而丢官，靳秀丽黯然离开台湾、出国留学，[url=]邵玉铭[/url]与卢秀菊离婚，从此沈潜多年。2003年初，[url=]邵玉铭[/url]与靳秀丽结婚。
